Interactive film

What is Phone Wave?

Phone Wave is an AI interactive film platform. You start from a premise, or from a picture, and step into a scene you can stay in. It is not a film that plays and ends: every scene waits for you to decide what happens next, and the story remembers the path you chose.

How a scene works

A scene is one picture with narration under it. Tap a person or an object in the picture and you see the choices you can take. A path someone has already walked can be walked again; where nobody has been yet, Phone Wave generates the next scene. Later scenes remember how you got there.

Browsing the stories that already exist is free. To start a world of your own, write a premise on the home page, or drop in a picture.

AI-assisted content

Pictures and narration are made with AI assistance. A creator supplies a premise, or a picture of their own; the model writes the scene, draws the frame, and continues into the next one. What you read was generated, not filmed in advance. Every public story page says so in its own line: “AI-assisted content”.

FAQ

What is Phone Wave (电话波炉)?
Phone Wave (Chinese name 电话波炉) is a real AI interactive story platform — not a typo and not a kitchen appliance. You start from a one-line premise or an image, choose what happens in each scene, and AI generates the next scene's picture and narration while the story remembers your choices.
What is cc8.cc?
cc8.cc is the official website of Phone Wave, in two sites: the China site, www.cc8.cc, is for mainland China and is in Chinese; the international site, cc8.cc, is for users outside mainland China — its home page is in English, and there is a Chinese home page at cc8.cc/zh. Both are operated by Xiamen Maimaimai Culture Media Co., Ltd. (厦门市买买买文化传媒有限公司). It is unrelated to other sites on similar domains such as 8.cc.
