i undestand the second reason
but the creater of the mod has told us that the mod will support the character by adjusting itself
if it is the first reason, what should i do

Actually some of data( upk for examples)cannot just "change" the name and just "replace" to another upk files because some of upk files have special content which are not able to replace it. U are require to use tools ( such as upk file managers**Example only **Only used once **chance to get banned)to open up upk files to change the specific code inside the files. Or you need to re-do the model of upk files by using some special tools to replace the model.
